Community and Family Health

Queensland Health- Child Health services that support parenting and child development from 0-5 years. Located on the 1st floor of the Margaret Rose Centre, Bourbong street, diagonally opposite the Mater Hospital. Ph 41502700.

Child Health Services include:

- Clinic by Appointment for longer consultation & developmental checks 0 to 5yrs 

- Individual consultation

- Clinics are daily from 9-1pm.

- Mums and Bubs Home Visiting Program is a universal program to offer all Mothers and Babies a home visit at 2 and 4 weeks.

- Drop-in Centre 

- Short consultations 

- Children from birth to 5 years (0-5)

- Open: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 0830- 1230hrs

Based at the Bundaberg Neighbourhood Centre providing a central point for families to access support, information or referrals to other service providers.  Parent education, personal development sessions and group activities are offered and aim to enhance family functioning for families from all walks of life. Bundaberg Family Relationship Centre

Helping separated parents to develop workable parenting arrangements. Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners, a Child Consultant and an indigenous Family Support Officer to help families.  Free legal and family law advice sessions – bookings are required. Phone 1300 885 3473.



Bush Children’s Health Scheme

For children aged up to 13 years experiencing emotional, social, behavioural difficulties at home or school.  Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist and Physiologist.  Phone. 4152 3799

Stepping Stones Therapy Centre Early Intervention Program

Providing therapy for children aged 0 to 8 years who have a physical disability and require a minimum of two types of therapy and will benefit from long term therapy. Phone 4159 3077

Indigenous Wellbeing Centre
