Learn about induction training and the range of professional development opportunities available to Educators.


To ensure you are successful in your Family Day Care business Educators undertake Induction Training with Bundaberg Baptist Family Day Care Scheme..  Training is delivered at our office or in your home and covers topics such as:

  • Professional Approach 

  • Parent Interviews and Placement of Care 

  • In-service Training and Professional Development 

  • Play Session, Toy Library and Equipment Borrowing 

  • Health and Hygiene 

  • Safety 

  • Child Protection 

  • Behaviour Management

Working as a Family Day Care Educator, you will need to hold or commenced studying a minimum Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent qualification.  If you do not currently posses a qualification in Children’s Services you may be eligible to receive funding to assist with the cost of studying.  Contact your preferred training organisation and enquire about studying options.
